Cancellation and Refunds
Last updated 10 October 2026
Kairoq is a subscription service. This page explains how trials, billing periods, cancelling, freezing and refunds work. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
New workspaces start with a free trial and no card. We remind the administrators a week, three days and a day before it ends. When it ends the workspace is frozen (nothing is deleted, and you can still export your data) until an administrator chooses a plan.
2. Monthly and yearly plans
- You pay in advance for a month or for a year (yearly costs ten months' price for twelve). Plans renew automatically until cancelled, and we remind the administrators before each renewal.
- Switching plan or between monthly and yearly starts a new period today; the old subscription ends at once and its unused days aren't credited.
3. Cancelling
Only an owner or administrator can cancel, from Settings → Billing, at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and isn't renewed after that. We remind the administrators a week and a day before it ends, and they can keep the plan with one click any time before then.
4. What happens after a plan ends
The workspace is frozen: nobody can use it, but nothing is deleted. Your data is kept for at least 90 days (and we give 30 days' notice before deleting it after that), you can export it throughout, and choosing a plan brings everyone back straight away. A payment that fails is retried, and the workspace keeps working for a 7-day grace period before it is frozen.
5. Refunds
- Charges for a period that has started aren't refunded for partial use, including when you cancel mid-period or switch plans.
- If you were charged in error or twice, tell us within 30 days and we'll refund the amount to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days of approval.
- If we couldn't provide the service for an extended period because of a fault on our side, write to us; we'll consider a credit or refund for the affected period.
- Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right applies.
6. Taxes and invoices
Prices exclude GST, added at the rate that applies. Receipts for payments come from Razorpay; for a GST invoice for your subscription, ask through Support.
7. Payments to businesses using Kairoq
Invoices a business sends its own customers through Kairoq are paid to that business's own payment account. Questions about those payments or refunds go to the business that issued the invoice.
